Unseasonably warm weather expected in central Wyoming through Tuesday
CASPER, Wyo. — High temperatures are expected to break 80 degrees in Casper and many locations east of the Continental Divide through Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Riverton.
Unseasonably warm days with afternoon winds and no expected precipitation bring fire weather danger to central and southern Wyoming through Sunday.
Things will get noticeably cooler on Wednesday, with high temperatures about 15-20 degrees below Tuesday’s.

Chances for showers in Casper begin Tuesday night, with a 40% chance Wednesday and a forecast high near 64.
Any precipitation should end by early Thursday morning. Thursday and Friday both look dry, and high temperatures look to rebound a bit each day with highs on Friday in the 50s over the western mountains and well into the 70s over the central basins.
